The Sunshine Coast has a slower, laid-back feel that suits a ceremony beautifully. Couples marry on the beach at Noosa or Mooloolaba, on a headland above the surf, or up in the hinterland villages where the views stretch to the Glass House Mountains.

Good to know
Public beaches and parks need a booking with the council. Noosa Heads and Sunshine Beach fall under Noosa Shire Council, and the rest of the coast and hinterland under Sunshine Coast Council. Check with the right one for your spot before you lock in a date.
Down on the coast, the afternoon breeze can be strong, and the sand is hot in the middle of the day, so an early or late ceremony is often the most comfortable. Up in Maleny and Montville it is cooler, and mist can roll through the range, which looks magical in photos but is worth planning for.
Noosa is busy on weekends and in the school holidays, so leave extra time for parking and getting guests to the spot. We will also agree on a wet-weather plan together before the day.
Travel
The Sunshine Coast sits beyond the 50km of travel included in my Micro, Legals Only and Elopement ceremonies, so a travel fee applies for those, quoted when you enquire. The Full Ceremony includes travel within 100km of the Brisbane CBD: that can reach the southern end of the coast and parts of the hinterland, but not Noosa. Let me know your spot and I will tell you exactly where it sits.
